fishing day – october 10
Join us for a fun morning of fishing on October 10th. No experience or equipment needed. This is open to first time fishers all the way through experienced anglers. Equipment will be available for any athlete needing it. We will have volunteers on-site to assist with all levels. All attendees will receive a prize for attending and awards will be given out for various categories.

Special Olympics Kansas is excited to offer our athletes the opportunity to compete in a virtual fishing competition! The competition is a safe way to fish and compete against your friends and peers from across the state.
Train and compete from home and submit your scores online for a chance to win. Shout-out to Special Olympics Iowa for this idea!

Participates Code of Conduct and Risk Assessment Form – We are requiring all athletes, coaches and volunteers to complete the Participates Code of Conduct and Risk Assessment Form (attached). Please have the athletes complete the form prior to participating and return the completed forms to your Regional Director.
