Please join us for the 2020 Unified Champion Schools Socially Distanced Social! Since we cannot come together for sports we will come together at a distance to kick off a new type of challenge through the Unified Virtual Fitness Challenge. Come learn more about Unified Champion Schools, about the Unified Virtual Fitness Challenge and see the heart warming movie, Soul Surfer! Soul Surfer tells the story much like ours of an athlete who faces a challenge! We can’t wait to see you there!

What: Drive-In Movie – Soul Surfer!
Where: Boulevard Drive-In – 1051 Merriam Ln, Kansas City, KS 66103
When: Thursday, October 8th at 7:20PM (Gates open at 6:00PM)
Who: Anyone and Everyone! *This event is open to anyone wanting to attend, not just Unified participants. 
Cost: $25/vehicle general admission | $50/VIP Package (see below)

About Soul Surfer

Virtual Unified Fitness Challenge Kick-off

The Drive-In Social will kick-off our Virtual Unified Champion School Fitness Challenge. This six-week training program is a Unified Champion School program for students with and without intellectual disabilities to virtually train together. It can be fully done from home with materials provided and online resources available for those who can access them.

About unified champion schools

The goal of Unified Champion Schools is to create school climates where students with disabilities feel welcome and are routinely included in all activities, opportunities and functions. Special Olympics Unified Sports® is an inclusive program which combines individuals with intellectual disabilities (athletes) and individuals without intellectual disabilities (partners) on sports teams for training and competitions. Athletes and partners compete alongside one another, each in a meaningful and integral role. Sports activities include:
