World's Largest Truck Convoy®

The World's Largest Truck Convoy®, a Law Enforcement Torch Run initiative, is nationwide celebration that raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics. Thousands of truck drivers, company owners, Department of Transportation officials and law enforcement officers participate in events held in 26 U.S. states and 2 Canadian provinces. From a single event held in Orlando, FL in 2001, where 97 trucks raised $17,000, the Truck Convoy has expanded dramatically over the years and in 2012 there were 1,461 trucks raising more than $525,000!

The Kansas Convoy ranked 3rd overall in 2012, with 101 trucks and
over $59,000 raised for Special Olympics Kansas.

Congratulations to everyone who participated.

Truck owners and drivers must register to join the convoys which parade through local towns and end their journey at a local venue for lunch and awards.  A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required to participate and walk up registrations are welcome. Check back in the spring for the links for detailing each starting location.  To register, you simply download the brochure (under document links to the right of the page) and waiver, complete and mail to SOKS, 5280 Foxridge Drive, Mission, KS 66202.  Dates for the 2013 convoy are below.  Updated brochures will be available in early 2013.
