National Games
Every four years Special Olympics conducts a National Summer Games in the United States that includes athletes from all 52 US Programs. New Jersey is has been selected as host of the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games, the Games of Welcome and Acceptance.
2014 National Games
June 14-21st, Princeton, New Jersey

Special Olympics Kansas is accepting nominations for athletes and coaches to represent Kansas at the 2014 National Games in New Jersey, June 14 – June 21, 2014.
Kansas’ Quota 14 athletes and 4 coaches:

There may be an opportunity for a Kansas soccer team at a later date.
Basic requirements of the trip: More detailed requirements will be given at a later date
- Attend a training camp in Emporia, KS on Saturday, June 8, 2014.
- Attend the games (tentatively with travel dates that will be confirmed later) from June 11 – June 22, 2014. This includes 1 night in Kansas for the send off party the night before the flight to New Jersey.
- Raise $750.00 (athletes only) – SOKS will create fundraising pages for athletes.
