HEALTH & FITNESS

Special Olympics Kansas’s inclusive health programming focuses on improving the physical and social-emotional well-being of people with intellectual disabilities by broadening access and quality of care in health systems across the state.

PREVENTION PROGRAMS

We prioritize athlete health by offering free prevention health screenings to registered SOKS athletes at competition venues and other select events.

TRAINING PROGRAMS

Through key training programs, we aim to build a sustainable foundation of inclusive leaders who are trained to lead their peers in establishing or reinforcing healthy behaviors and attitudes.

ASSESSMENT PROGRAMS

Ready to live your healthiest life? Each week, SOKS provides LIVE health and fitness sessions, in addition to other resources, to support and guide you on your fitness journey!

YOUNG ATHLETES

Innovative sports play programs for children with intellectual disabilities, ages 3-7. Designed to introduce them to the world of sports prior to Special Olympics eligibility at age 8.
